Hey everyone
Happy 4th!
I got up a little late as I was up into the wee hours of 10:30 or so last night watching fireworks on top of a loft near Coors Field. I liked seeing the light flowers at first. They were off in the distance near Sloans Lake. Then they started shooting them off at Coors Field. I went with it for awhile but then I got a little scared and the gag reflex starting taking hold. Mom got me off the roof before anything bad could happen.
This is me with Uncle Jeff in happier times watching the Rockies come back in the bottom of the 11th.
When I finally got up I had my traditional independance celebration breakfast...eggs and a cereal bar. 
We went to a 4th of July parade in the Highlands just west of I-25 on 20th Ave near Coors Field. What used to be a gang hangout is now full of yuppy parents and kids in their scraped and new constructed houses. I just plopped in my stroller and went along for the ride this year. It was really hot and there were a lot of big kids so I wasn't too thrilled with everything.
I was most happy when I grabbed a handful of pretzels and got Dad to carry me back to the car. Napping now but going to a "bags" turnament this afternoon and then will see more fireworks. Hopefully I'll grow to like the light flowers.
