PT

Griffin passed his PT test with flying colors. Still has some hip flux problems on the left side and a right hamstring that is tight but is in pretty good shape. He is very advanced in understanding concepts according to his therapist. He jumped over a retangular mat from a still position. He took a couple of steps back before he did it and cleared the mat with ease. It sure astounded me. He even jumped over a 2nd mat stacked on top of the first. Most kids will just step on the mat instead of jump over it. He also was talking about not going to school because its Saturday. We playfully argued back and forth with me stating it was Thursday and Griffin insisting its Saturday. Here is some video after a long session of PT and a hearty breakfast at Children's Hospital. He ate all of my bacon before I could get a piece. He was singing Twinkle Twinkle and was acting very tired. I kept shaking and tickling his leg on the car ride to daycare to keep him awake. He then slept for a good 2 hours.

Denver was deserted. We parked on Wazee so we could ride the "train" shuttle to the Pavillions. Griffin had a blast jumping in the puddles with his duck boots.

The Shoe Bomber

I feel like I'm the TSA and he's Richard Ried. We spent a good 15 minutes walking on top of the concrete parking blocks at daycare. No amount of bribes were going to work to get him in the car and a meltdown ensued. Stiff as a board but not light as a feather when I put him in the carseat. As usual kicking the dashboard happened immediately but a stern warning followed. I would take away his shoes if he didn't stop. He's lost his shoes on several occasions so this time he took heed.
"Griffin no touch. Griffin have shoes." was his chant all the way home.
I felt like crud.

From a week or so ago. We're expecting that much on Saturday. Should make for an interesting Easter egg hunt on Sunday.
