What a week. Griffin was diagnosed on Thursday with a double ear infection. His first thankfully. We’re hoping his last but we can wish. Mom stayed home with him all week while my hours just got worse as the week progressed. Taking the bus home in a snowstorm at 11pm from work was not much fun but it beat riding my bike. He was back at daycare by Friday and almost seemed like his old self yesterday.
The 3rd Friday of the month his daycare has extended hours till 10. That is if 5 families out of 100+ sign up. Five measly families. We were the only ones. We had to get past the guilt and find a babysitter last minute. His daycare teacher Ms. Toni was procured last minute.
The Gala went very well. We won a family membership to MCA, some spices, sunglasses and a signed Denver Nuggets hat. We raised some pretty good money and Kim looked very nice.
We ran a bunch of errands yesterday in between his car naps. On our last errand we saw some ponies next to a library in a somewhat rundown part of town near 40th and York. Obviously we had to stop and see what was going on. Someone who loves kitties and doe does = dogs was a little timid around the little Shetland ponies. He only petted one after Dad did and did not want to have his picture taken on the saddle.

Went to Tom Courtney and Mason’s house last night for dinner. Griffin and I wore our matching Mazcyrck shirts that we got at the really expensive market that we visited for their 6th anniversary and came out with $4 salsas aka the cheapest things we could find. Note the first time Griffin got jealous of Mom holding another baby. Happened only that one time. Otherwise he hung out with Dad outside on the patio or on the couch watching the Avs clinching the first playoff series. Stayed asleep being dressed and undressed through changing and bracing.
