Jefferson Park

We decided to make the most of the day after naptime and go for a walk rather than Home Depot. We had previously gone to Petsmart where someone just went nuts waving and screaming at all of the dogs he saw. You could tell you were at a pet store as most people completely ignored Griffin focusing on each others pets. Some seemed a little annoyed with his occasional laughs. How dare we bring a child in here to enjoy our pets. We heard someone ask how old he was, but they were referencing a dog’s age.

By the time we finished Costco he had grabbed the thumb size Dixie cup full of organic milk with enough force to have it explode all over the front of his shirt. He was asleep by the time we got out of the parking lot.

Our park is small hilly and kind run down. The neighborhood is putting 50k for path and bathroom improvements. Path improvements? How about a few extra swings? Nonetheless Griffin was a little afraid at first but positively loved the slide. He went down the one you see here and then when courage was adequately built, went down the giant curly slide.

After his 3rd slide, he knew enough to sign more. He has figured out it means “more” than more food.

Hey, the park is that way.

8 unit townhomes where there was a single family house 1,000 sq ft with a old swamp cooler on stilts in the back. One block north of house.
