Thank You

Griffin was a little sleepy this morning. Despite the sleepiness he managed to flop from the top of his bed to the bottom in less than 20 minutes without waking up. I’m afraid you’ve caught Dad’s cold. Even a little groggy we managed to get some verbal “Thank you” this morning.

Dad helped a Mom with a baby and a boy a little older than you on the bus today. The mom was trying to wheel the baby and get the boy out of his seat to get off the bus. The boy didn’t want to leave and by the time she got him up the bus had already pulled away from her stop. Thankfully a few people requested the bus driver stop which to his credit he did. She then wheeled the baby off the bus but the boy was left standing in the middle of the aisle all alone. I got up and carried the boy off the bus and to his mom. The real reason for this story isn’t that people can be nice on a bus but that on the way back to my seat I thought how light that kid was to pick up compared to Griffin.
